Late 19th century; early 20th century. Sterling silver gr. 183. Each fibula measures cm. 13 (5 high x cm. 5 (1.94") wide.
An essential feminine embellishment, the tizerzai are taken in pairs to close the cloak. Their weight, size and fineness of execution indicate the social status of the woman who wears them.
